Mistral's speech model — completely non-functional for Arabic.
Does not work for Arabic at all. Zero transcriptions produced in testing despite claiming multilingual support.
Mistral's Voxtral Mini was tested for Arabic speech recognition but produced zero transcriptions. Despite processing 3.8 seconds of audio and testing with both implicit and explicit language parameters, the model output nothing. Arabic appears to be unsupported despite documentation suggesting multilingual capability.
Produced zero transcriptions for Arabic audio. Tested with and without explicit language parameter.
